This will HOPEFULLY be my last blog post about my Evanstar Shawl before it’s finished. I am finally finished with the body of the shawl, and am currently making my way around the circumference with the border. This is what it looks like:
It will look better once it’s blocked further, but I’m worried about pulling too hard on it while it’s still on the needles.
I expect it will take me roughly a week to finish the border, and that’s if I knit pretty constantly on it. It’s actually a little slower than doing the body of the shawl because I am constantly flipping it back and forth so I can work on both sides. Circular knitting certainly has its advantages.
Next post on this shawl will be when it’s a finished object!
